We are looking for a Technical Project Specialist to join us at our client site in Milton Keynes. Our client is one of the largest retail and commercial banks based in the UK. Our client wants to help people and for the business to prosper and aim to do so simply, personally, and fairly and we would expect you to share these same values
The Technical Project Specialist is accountable for all/any allocated key client projects. Key responsibilities for this role include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. The role oversees all aspects of technical projects, mobilisation, managing deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring and summarising progress of project.

A typical day in the life as a Technical Project Specialist:
- Mobilisation (Writing/collating and/or supporting the writing of a mobilisation plan, effective escalation of concerns or blockers to the relevant manager and effectively present mobilisation plan to senior managers and clientele) - Responsible for the planning and execution of a specific project.
- Applying technical expertise to projects ensuring the most effective and economical outcome available. Including applying logic to alternative options which remain both cost and time effective.
- Responsible for escalating any blocks preventing the project from concluding according to business objectives.
- Prioritising risk-based thinking to every project as well as ensuring relevant engagement with key stakeholders allowing for a well-rounded approach to applying change to process.
- Leading technical projects for the estate as well as ensuring prompt escalation of anything that could impact the project and or outcome.
