We are looking for an experienced, driven and highly organised Command Centre Systems Manager to lead the systems team within our client's Command Centre. Reporting into the Security Operations Manager, you will manage day‑to‑day systems operations, oversee access control and CCTV monitoring, and ensure the highest standards of service, compliance and data security across a complex, high‑profile environment.

About the Role:

  • Lead systems team: Manage the Command Centre systems team, providing line management, direction and support.
  • Oversee security systems: Manage centralised access control, CCTV monitoring, databases and associated platforms.
  • Develop procedures: Design and implement Assignment Instructions and SOPs aligned to client requirements and legislation.
  • Recruit, train, manage: Ensure the team is appropriately recruited, trained and performance‑managed in line with company and client standards.
  • Client liaison: Act as principal point of contact for the client on Command Centre systems activities and responses.
  • Performance & MI: Monitor service levels, KPIs and compliance, ensuring accurate, timely and professional management information.
  • Audit & governance: Carry out relevant system/platform management, auditing and quality checks.
  • Incident management: Coordinate the team to ensure effective incident management aligned to assignment instructions.
  • Collaboration: Maintain regular contact with the Security Operations Manager and colleagues, supporting wider operational needs.

What we are looking for:

  • Team leadership: Minimum 2 years' experience leading a team responsible for security systems monitoring and event‑driven responses.
  • Sector experience: Experience of working for or with a financial institution.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including clear, concise reporting.
  • IT proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Office; comfortable working with ARC or similar systems environments.
  • Analytical skills: Strong problem‑solving ability with excellent understanding of data analysis and research methods.
  • Pressure handling: Able to work effectively under pressure, giving accurate direction during emotive or high‑risk situations.
  • Risk focus: Ability to apply a risk‑focused approach to issues and incidents.
  • Independence & organisation: Able to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and work unsupervised when required.
  • Teamwork & professionalism: Demonstrates strong teamwork, high personal presentation and calm, confident behaviour.
  • Ethics & equality: Clear understanding of equality, diversity and the need to protect sensitive customer information, acting discreetly and in line with policies.
