Stores Assistant

Permanent Full-Time role.
Location: Slough
Hours: Monday-Friday 07.00-17.00
Pay: £39,622.38 hourly

Join our team in Slough as a Stores Assistant, playing a crucial role in the EMD Stores Assistant role will be key in delivering the high service level demanded by the client. The Stores Assistant role will cover various duties within EMD, and you will need to be cross trained in a number of skills to cover the wide-ranging demands of the role. The role is fast paced ever evolving role which the right candidate, the role will also be required to support the wider operation at CLC at times so being a flexible person is important.

About the Role:

As a Stores Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Maximo administration, you will assist the Uniform Stores Controller for the processing of all supplier deliveries, undertake receipting of purchase orders, which will release payment to the suppliers and dealing Purchase Order queries that may arise.
• Fulcrum Administration, you will need to be able to operate this system and be the central hub for the EMD operation you will assist with booking supplier deliveries into the warehouse alongside the Stores Controller.
• Responsible for assisting with stock checks reports in Central Stores.

• Deliver excellent customer service

• Flexible and reliable
• Excellent written communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
• Full Clean Driving Licence
• The requirement to complete an Airside driving test and medical
• The ability to provide details for a full 5-year work history accounting for any gaps to obtain an airside pass.
