Join Our Team as a Site Lead!
The Site Lead will provide strong leadership and communication, bringing security expertise from a highly regulated environment to enhance and innovate the onsite security operation. Responsible for the daily management of Front of House and Emergency Response services, they will ensure efficient delivery aligned to SLA and KPI requirements, while continuously seeking service improvements.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-focused, and fully compliant with policies and procedures. They must be proficient with Microsoft Office and security access systems, and experienced in leading teams to meet defined standards with full audit trails.
The role requires confident decision-making, effective emergency coordination, and a strong commitment to security rules and risk awareness. Exceptional customer service, supplier oversight, and people management skills are essential, supported by high emotional intelligence.
About the Role:
As a Site Lead you will be responsible for:
- Oversee and manage emergency communications in a timely, professional manner to the VE SOC
- Oversee incident reporting processes, track actions, ensure proper closure, and escalate to relevant stakeholders
- Manage, motivate, and develop security personnel assigned to the site to always deliver exceptional service striving for excellence.
- Drive high standards among security personnel and recognize strong performance but also act quickly on any incorrect behaviour or omission.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and fellow colleagues.
- Maintain site roster and time management, ensuring proper coverage for holidays/sickness
- Oversee Front of House security functions, including people, premises, and protocols
- Employee responsibilities including rota management, staff welfare, staff development, investigations/grievances)

What we are looking for:
- SIA licence (Door Supervisor)
- Level 2 First Aid at Work
- Background in the security industry at supervisory level or above, ideally in a customer facing or highly regulated environment.
- Conversant with HR processes such as (investigations, staff welfare and performance meeting)
- Producing and implementing security procedures and risk assessments
- Roster management
- Managing Audit, ensuring compliance
- Experience with using and managing the use of ACS equipment
