SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER

Permanent
Location: Colnbrook Logistics Centre
Hours: Full Time, Mon-Fri 7am to 5pm
Pay: £58,000 - £65,000 pa

We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join our team based near Heathrow. 

About the Role:

Within this role you will be responsible for the seamless operation of the Heathrow Logistics Integrator Warehouse, managing the end-to-end activities and associated processes within the facility.  The role will see you ensure operations achieve a safe working environment, client and customer satisfaction, productivity improvements, excellence in operations as well as employee growth and performance.

Main Duties:

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the warehouse, including inbound, pick and outbound operations
  • Ensure that warehouse team members have clearly defined roles and objectives and that they are trained, developed and motivated to achieve the required standards of performance
  • Effective planning of all warehouse activities to ensure adherence to agreed KPIs and performance targets
  • Ensure that all warehouse equipment is maintained and inspected in line with relevant regulations
  • Act as principal point of contact for all contractors, delivery partners, suppliers, offering advice and guidance on our service delivery to meet their needs
  • Any additional reasonable duties requested by operational management

What we are looking for:

  • Prior experience leading high performing warehouse functions (preferably in construction/engineering)
  • Demonstrable track record of managing successful warehouse teams
  • Proven experience in use of online logistics systems/IMS
  • Experience in developing, implementing and improving operational procedures to ensure increased efficiencies and reduced cost
  • Full Driving Licence

Desirable

  • Airside Driving Licence
  • IOSH (Managing Safely)
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid at Work Certificate
  • FLT Drivers Licence
