Senior Employee Relations Advisor

Temp - 3 Month FTC
Location: Heathrow Airport
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Pay: £42,000 pa 

Are you an experienced HR professional with a strong track record in employee relations? We're looking for a a seasoned ER professional who has already operated in a dedicated ER or HR advisory capacity to join us as a Senior Employee Relations Advisor who brings deep expertise in employment law, complex case management, and best-practice HR advisory to support and guide our people managers. 

You'll be part of a collaborative HR team committed to continuous improvement, where your professional insights will be valued and your expertise respected. As a Senior ER Advisor, you will provide professional, generalist HR support—guiding and influencing people managers to ensure best practice in line with company policies and employment legislation. Your work will play a vital role in minimising risk to the business while supporting the organisation in achieving its strategic objectives.

This role requires someone with excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to build trusted relationships with a range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, line managers, and HR colleagues.

About the Role:

As a Senior ER Advisor you will be responsible for:

  • Provide expert HR advice on people policies, ensuring consistent and compliant application of HR practices.

  • Manage complex employee relations cases, including legal risk mitigation and support during external legal proceedings.

  • Support TUPE processes (inbound and outbound) alongside ER Manager and Business Partner teams.

  • Advise on and support formal employee consultations related to organisational change and restructures.

  • Deliver timely, accurate employment law and ER guidance to HR teams, managers, and external stakeholders.

  • Build strong, effective relationships across the business while maintaining robust ER tracking, reporting, and compliance systems.

What we are looking for:

  • HR Experience at a similar level, within a background of managing employee relation matters
  • CIPD Qualified would be preferred
  • Effective team member who demonstrated flexibility in support of overall team effectiveness
  • Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholder at all levels
  • Proven experience in an Employee Relations or HR Advisory role
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law and ER legislation
  • Extensive experience managing complex disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence cases
  • Confident in providing sound, practical advice to managers at all levels
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
