 As a Team Security Supervisor at Wilson James, you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting a high-performing team to achieve both individual and collective goals. You will be responsible for fostering a positive work culture, optimising team performance, and driving operational excellence. This role requires a proactive leader with strong communication skills.The right candidate will have previous experience as a Supervisor or looking to take the next step up.. You will need to have a strong personality as this role will demand meetings with staff and taking part in disciplinaries.

As the Team Supervisor you are an integral part of the team and you can make an impact with your skills to protect, deter and respond to any security matters, whilst providing an exceptional customer service experience.

A typical day in the life as a Team Supervisor:  

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team to achieve performance targets and deliver exceptional results.
• Develop and implement effective strategies for team growth, productivity, and efficiency.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages collaboration and professional development.
• Monitor and analyse team performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews to provide feedback, set goals, and support career development.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment with company objectives and seamless workflow.
• Handle day-to-day operational tasks, including scheduling, resource allocation, and conflict resolution.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to bring innovative ideas to the team.

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience as a Team Supervisor or in a similar leadership role is essential
• Strong leadership and people management skills with a track record of achieving team goals.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to motivate and inspire team members while maintaining high levels of performance.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Desirable skills

• Mental Health First Aid
• Coordinating experience
• Experience in excel, Timegate, SAP, Domo, is a plus.
