As a Team Leader you will will lead their shift team whilst maintaining the client's security requirements, upholding a strong corporate image, and maintaining high standards of professionalism by following directions from the security management team.
About the Role:
As a Team Leader , you will be responsible for:
- Be responsible for team supervision during working hours, implementing protocols laid out by the Security Manager and the business.
- Lead the security operation OOH and in the absence of the Security Manager.
- Conduct regular team welfare checks.
- Deliver training as directed by the Security Manager
- Maintain a polite, courteous, and friendly manner towards the public, the client, and colleagues.
- Remain alert and vigilant to activity on the site to ensure risks are minimised through prompt action and reporting to the Supervisor/Manager; If the emergency is perceived as an emergency, alert the police.
- Investigate fire alarm indicators in the buildings and respond as per site procedure.
- What we are looking for:
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work the shift pattern.
- Demonstrated ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure.
- Reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance in order to ensure team effectiveness and availability.
- Have the ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary
- Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team.
- Previous Team Leader experience would be preferential.

- Please note that, successful candidates will be required to undergo periodic vetting checks during their employment. This is not a full vetting process, but a routine credit and directorship check and carried out every three years to ensure ongoing compliance with our security standards.
