About the Role:
To provide effective and efficient supervision to a team of security personnel and front of house staff within the site property portfolio. To ensure officers provide a first-class security service solution to all staff and visitors to the site. Responsible for supervising a pooled resource to ensure the varying demands of the business are met in all areas covered by the contract. Reporting directly to the Security Operations Manager and in his absence the Head of Risk and Security.
As a Security Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Manage all aspects of the security shift team member's duties, ensuring they are compliant and conversant with agreed procedures, taking responsibility for the professional conduct and development of the team. Key emphasis is placed on access control, staff deportment, customer care and emergency responses.
- Investigate & escalate all complaints, putting in place corrective measures to prevent a re-occurrence and to ensure that information is passed on to site management and your fellow TL`s.
- To manage the deployment of the Security Team by way of planning, coordination, allocation and supervision via the daily rotation of the team, shifting resources to where they are required.
- To effectively monitor CCTV for the prevention of crime, loss or theft of property and to ensure the Health and Safety of staff and visitors.
- Assist the Security Operations Manager and or Head of Risk and Security and in the reviewing, devising and compiling standard operating procedures through delivering scenario tests, toolbox talks and issuing site memoranda as and when required.
- To ensure that the Security Team carry out the set number of patrols, meeting frequency, accuracy and reporting targets as set out in the Assignment Instructions or as requested by the Site management or the senior Campus Services & Developments team.
