In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and ensuring that security protocols are upheld at all times. About the Role:

As a Event Security Supervisor! you will be responsible for:

  • Manage the Contract Security Personnel working at the locations and take responsibility for the professional conduct & development of the team
  • Be responsible for all security activities & standards of all security personnel, and ensure that all incidents are managed and responded to in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Ensure that the security teams are briefed on events or changes in procedures that have been implemented or is due to be introduced
  •  Training (derived from both internal & external courses) are delivered toTindividual staff in accordance with their rank/responsibilities & identified training & development needs
  • Develop the team in relation to Security Skills coaching and needs.
  • Ensure the Health & Safety Files (including Risk Assessments & Tool box Talks) are up to date, accurately reflect the legal & company requirements of Health & Safety legislation
  • Allsecurity personnel are fully informed/briefed in relation to both the AI's & the H&S documentation
  • Provide first line response to all incidents, Fire, Security and Health & Safety and manage these in accordance with laid down procedures
  • Effective support to the client's Incident Management representative and undertake incident management responsibilities as defined by the client
  • Manage the deployment of the Security Team by way of planning, co-ordination, allocation and supervision via the compiling of rosters etc to cover both duties, holidays and absence.
  • Control use of radios, pagers, Deister unit and other equipment, ensuring regular audits are carried out
  • Lawful, safe, efficient and economical use and recording of all supplies and consumables
  • Ensure accurate records are maintained of all equipment including alarm systems, monitoring and recording devices, reported as defective and ensure appropriate and timely response and repair of equipment
  • Provide accurate and timely information for the preparation of reports and planning

What we are looking for:

  • Deliver excellent customer service 
  • Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure 
  • Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary 
  • Maintain a high standard of personal presentation 
  • Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance in order to ensure team effectiveness and availability 
  • SIA - DS licence
  • Proven record of strong working relationship building skills • Excellent organisational skills
  • Experience of issue and conflict resolution
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Competent on Microsoft Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint & Outlook
  • Confident and articulate communicator
  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding targets
