We are looking for a Security Supervisor to join us at our client site in Liverpool. Our client is one of the largest retail and commercial banks based in the UK  This position is responsible for providing positive assistance to the Security Manager in controlling the day to day operational requirements of the contract in line with the customer and contractual expectations. Acting as the  initial  management  contact  for  all security personnel. Ensuring service delivery and prompt response to all incidents. The Shift Supervisor will stand in for the Security Manager in their absence.

A typical day in the life as a Security Supervisor:

  • Ensuring the building is safe and protected by carrying out both internal and external patrols, actively preventing any security concerns, overseeing those around you ensuring they are comfortable using specific systems.
  • Overseeing the checking, and verification of entry passes, monitoring of alarm systems, access control and investigating any suspicious activity or behaviour.   
  • Interaction with customers, meeting and greeting both staff and visitors; listening to requests, taking an interest in what they have to say, show empathy, and be prepared to answer questions and follow up where you feel you might be able to help. It's about going that extra mile to show people we care.
