We are seeking a reliable and proactive Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment for our staff, visitors, and assets. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and ensuring that security protocols are upheld at all times. About the Role:

As a Security Officer you will be responsible for:

• Maintain a polite, courteous, and friendly manner towards the public, the client, and colleagues
• Remain alert and vigilant to activity on the site to ensure risks are minimised through prompt action and reporting to the Security Supervisor.
• Report suspicious persons or vehicles immediately to the Security Supervisor and Police when the situation is perceived an emergency.
• Carry out all other duties as required by the Security Supervisor. These may include but are not limited to access control, mail examination, escorting, vehicle searching and cloakroom duties.
• Investigate fire alarm indicators in the buildings and respond as per site procedure

What we are looking for:

• SIA Door Supervisor Licence
• Excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
• Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary
• Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from the public.
