The purpose of the role of Security Officer for Shetland Bench Team is to provide an effective physical and visual security presence and to respond immediately to all incidents/emergencies and to provide timely and accurate reports up through the line of command.

About the Role:

As a Security Officer you will be responsible for:

• Produce, issue and control the use of Security Access Passes
• Control access of all staff, guests, visitors and contractors to the site in compliance with client policy
• Ensure that all staff, guests, visitors and contractors are dealt with in a polite and customer-focused manner
• Regular tests of all systems under security's control, ensuring that all faults are reported as per procedures
• Ensure all Health and Safety objectives are complied with and all HSE observations are recorded in the client reporting system
• Carry out searches on staff, visitors and contractors in compliance with client policy

• Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team.
