In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and ensuring that security protocols are upheld at all times. About the Role:
As a Lead Security Officer, you will be responsible for:
- To actively lead a security team ensuring all duties are carried out in accordance with site procedures and policies and take responsibility for professional conduct and development of the team.
- Remain alert and vigilant to activity on site and investigate any occurrences on that require further escalation. This will be done by scrutinising the CCTV systems for information gathering before compiling all relevant information onto incident reports for the client.
- To undertake any other tasks as identified or required by the Site Security Manager or Deputy Security Manager.
- To ensure new starters to the team have received a complete site and company induction and develop and manage probationer and annual training programmes for all employees, conduct performance monitoring including scenario testing and the ‘signing off' by staff of AI's and H&S documents.
- To manage sickness/ absence reporting for the shift ensuring timely reporting and welfare management for officers; escalating when appropriate.

What we are looking for:
- Deliver excellent customer service.
- Basic IT Skills
- Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
- Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation
- Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance to ensure team effectiveness and availability
- DS/SG SIA licence
