We are seeking a reliable and proactive Security Controller who will be responsible for all day-to-day Control Room Operations relating to the protection of persons, premises and property. The assistance to client workers and visitors for designated areas. About the Role:

As a Security Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • The Controller is responsible for all day-to-day Control Room Operations CCTV monitoring, CCTV investigations, Access Control etc. As well as assisting the Site Manager and Duty Managers.
  • Conducting regular patrols and monitor premises to prevent unauthorised access, theft, or vandalism.
  • Monitoring access points, CCTV, and handling security procedures
  • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, taking appropriate action as needed.
  • Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security concerns.
  • Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations and first aid support if required.
  • Adapting to different client sites – no two days are the same
  • Responding calmly and confidently to incidents or concerns
  • Working as part of a diverse, supportive team

What we are looking for:

  • To hold a current DS SIA Licence
  • CCTV Licence
  • Proven experience in a security role or a similar position.
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to identify and respond to security threats.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, visitors, and authorities.
  • Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
