We have a vacancy for a Security Officer at a fantastic site in Milton Keynes - the home of a well-known and exciting Formula 1 racing car technology company.
You will be supporting the site where this Formula 1 company develops technical and commercial solutions for leading-edge clients across a wide range of industries. As a Security Officer based at our site in Milton Keynes, you will be working in a corporate environment. Reception duties are required so communication & IT skills must be above average. Some duties will include alarm response, incident reporting, patrolling, gate lock/unlocks, securing buildings, carrying out tasks for the client. You will also be required to occasionally cover shifts at the other client site located in Bedford.
About the Role:
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Welcoming staff and visitors and creating a safe, professional atmosphere
- Conducting regular patrols and monitor premises to prevent unauthorised access, theft, or vandalism.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, taking appropriate action as needed.
- Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security concerns.
- Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations and first aid support if required.
- Adapting to different client sites – no two days are the same
- Responding calmly and confidently to incidents or concerns
- Working as part of a diverse, supportive team
- Assisting with the Event Parking days

What we are looking for:
- To hold a current SIA Licence
- Driving Licence
- Proven experience in a security role or a similar position.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify and respond to security threats.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, visitors, and authorities.
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
