Resource Planning Administrator

Permanent Full-Time role.
Location:
 London Gatwick Airport
Hours: Monday-Friday 09.00-17.00
Pay: £15.17 hourly rate

Join our team at Gatwick as a Resource Planning Administrator, playing a crucial role in ensuring effective operational coverage across all designated locations. This includes planning and maintaining daily rosters to ensure the right number of resource hours, with the appropriate vetting levels and skillsets, are deployed to meet operational requirements.

About the Role:

As a Resource Planning Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Plan daily workforce requirements for each operational location in line with operational demand.
  • Allocate staff to rosters based on skillsets, vetting levels, and role requirements.
  • Organise, approve, and record overtime in line with operational need and company policy.
  • Produce daily staff sheets showing staff deployment across all locations.
  • Liaise directly with team members via phone, email, and face-to-face to agree shifts, swaps, overtime, and leave.
  • Work closely with Operations, HR, and other stakeholders to resolve resourcing issues.
  • Maintain accurate workforce, rostering, and overtime trackers using Microsoft Excel.
  • Ensure data is kept up to date, accurate, and compliant with company requirements.

  • Strong people skills with confidence communicating face-to-face, by phone, and email
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (essential)
  • Adaptable and calm in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work independently and as part of a team
