We have a brand-new opportunity for you to join us as a Security Relief Officer based in Milton Keynes. Our client is one of the largest retail and commercial banks based in the UK. The office itself is located within Milton Keynes City Centre and has excellent access to public transport (bus and train station is a 5–10-minute walk away). The site provides excellent facilities enabling colleagues to walk, run or cycle to work as well as parking/storage, washrooms, lockers and an advanced modern office space to work in.   

As a Relief Security Officer you are an integral part of the team and you can make an impact with your skills to protect, deter and respond to any security matters, whilst providing an exceptional customer service experience. This is a customer facing role in a busy publicly accessible location, to provide excellent hospitality and positive interaction with clients & customers at every opportunity.

About the Role:

As a Relief Security Officer you will be responsible for:

• Providing a visible and proactive security presence to deter theft, anti-social behaviour, and security risks
• Monitor retail and public areas and report incidents promptly via the Security Control Room
• Maintain effective communication at all times using a two-way radio
• Control site access where required and carry out patrols and searches professionally
• Ensure incidents are recorded and reported in line with site policies and procedures

What we are looking for:

• Have excellent customer service skills
• Be calm & confident under pressure in dealing with challenging situations in a professional manner.
• Must be comfortable with responding to incidents, patrolling
• SIA Door Supervisor Licence
