Reception Badging Officer

Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 17:00

Join Our Team as a Reception Badging Officer
About the Role:
- Deliver a professional front-of-house service, welcoming visitors and managing enquiries
- Oversee access control, visitor management, and badging processes
- Monitor security systems and respond promptly to alarms and incidents
- Conduct patrols and support investigations, ensuring accurate reporting
- Maintain detailed records, audit trails, and compliance documentation
- Support emergency response procedures in line with site protocols
- Provide administrative support, ensuring all security data and logs are up to date
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment
You will be responsible for:
- Welcoming staff and visitors and creating a safe, professional atmosphere
- Conducting regular patrols and monitor premises to prevent unauthorised access, theft, or vandalism.
- Monitoring access points, CCTV, and handling security procedures
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, taking appropriate action as needed.
- Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security concerns.
- Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations and first aid support if required.
- Adapting to different client sites – no two days are the same
- Responding calmly and confidently to incidents or concerns
- Working as part of a diverse, supportive team

What we are looking for:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- First Aid at Work certification
- Experience with access control systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- 5+ years' experience in corporate security with a customer-facing focus
