We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Ramp Trainer at one of the UK's busiest airports – London Luton Airport.
Join us as a Ramp Trainer where you will be able to explore a world full of opportunities working here at the Airport. You will be meeting people from all over the world, where you will be part of the most vital part of these passengers' journeys, by making sure they get to their destination safely.

The Role
Exciting and rewarding, a typical day in the life as a Ramp Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality training to ensure that ramp and PRM assistance teams operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory and airline standards. The role involves onboarding new staff, conducting refresher courses, and ensuring all team members meet the required operational and customer service standards.
- Deliver initial and recurrent training programs for PRM ramp operations, including equipment handling, manual handling, and customer service.
- Ensure all training complies with CAA, and airport-specific regulations.
- Conduct practical and theoretical assessments to validate competency.
- Provide ongoing coaching and development for ramp staff, focusing on PRM assistance best practices.
- Maintain up to date training records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
- Train staff in safe use of PRM-related equipment, such as Ambu lifts, wheelchairs, pro swing and electric buggies.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure staff adhere to safety protocols.

Essential:
- Basic IT Skills.
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation.
- Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team.
- Previous experience in PRM operations, ramp handling, or ground services within an airport environment.
- Strong understanding of PRM legislation, airline policies, and airport safety procedures.
- Familiarity with PRM assistance equipment and ramp safety protocols.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work shifts, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Qualifications and Licenses
Essential
- Full Driving Licence.
- Manual Handling Instructor certification.
- Train the Trainer certification or equivalent.
- HGV Licence.
Desirable
- First Aid qualification.
- Airside Driving Permit (ADP) or willingness to obtain.
