Are you a vigilant and dedicated professional looking for a rewarding career in security? We are seeking a reliable and proactive Portfolio Supervisor to help maintain a safe and secure environment for our staff, visitors, and assets.

About the Role:

As a Portfolio Supervisor! you will be responsible for:

  • Manage daily shift rotations and work schedules ensuring all contracted hours & additional ad-hoc hours are manned on time within your area. You will anticipate gaps, provide solutions and cover but keep Operations Support Manager and DSM informed.
  • Inspect/check every shift that all staff assigned to the given portfolio under command are on time, smart and clean, carrying their valid  SIA licence, have completed all training topics, signed their RA's and AI's on Tracktic
  • Ensure all Permits to work are checked on shift handover
  • Identify daily per shift all Lone Working situations. Report any that are discovered ASAP that are not registered
  • Understand and review all building requirements, fire panels, escalation plans and AI SOPS every shift
  • Attend the daily Supervisors meeting as directed passing on all relevant information to staff and with other supervisors.  Raise with DSM all issues and risks opportunities and threats
  • Notify DSM and OSM if there are open shifts in your under 10 days in advance, work with Scheduler and DSM to fill the gaps
  • Ensure no employee works in excess of 8 straight shifts and seek management approval to exceed this. 
  • Ensure all new staff are appropriately trained and signed off as delivered on the relevant and correct documentation. 
  • Work with DSM/CSM and Scheduler to manage staffing cover of holidays, sickness and other absence
  • You are responsible for staff welfare on your portfolios. You are to challenge and thoroughly engage with staff absence and you will be measured on this aspect of line management. You are expected to minimise absence by supervising individuals closely and encouraging and leading by example
  •  Proactively work with and for your Broadgate Property Managers and their team in support of Broadgate and its brand values (connecting, empowering and surprising)
  • Ensure KPI measures are understood and delivered at Supervisor and security officer level

What we are looking for:

  • SIA – DS/SG
  • Demonstrable and proven experience managing a large workforce (30 plus) on a day to day basis
  • Satisfactorily achieve the required standards at all times.
  • Strong data inputting and administration skills
  • Demonstrate proven negotiation, listening and problem-solving skills
  • Have experience of using a command, control and communications centre to manage security operations
  • Experience of working in a facilities environment
  • Have experience in dealing with multiple issues at once, prioritising and resolving problems
  • Experience in critical asset, crisis and incident management
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate with officers, colleagues, clients, contractors and management in the appropriate manner
