Fixed Term 12 months
Location: Central London
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday 0830 to 1700
Pay: £65,000 to £70,000 per annum depending on experience

Are you a skilled and driven leader with a passion for operational excellence and security resilience? We're seeking an Operations Support Lead to play a pivotal role in supporting the effective delivery of security operations across our client's UK estate. This is a high-impact role that combines operational coordination, crisis and incident response, and the development of security procedures and workflows.

As a key contributor to both daily operations and long-term strategic resilience, you'll bring strong people leadership, a deep understanding of operational governance, and a proactive approach to maintaining and enhancing security performance across a dynamic estate.

About the Role:

As an Operations Support Lead you will be responsible for:

  • Support security operations across the UK, acting as a key escalation point for day-to-day and critical issues.
  • Oversee 24/7 control room operations, ensuring service continuity and high performance.
  • Lead incident and crisis response, including emergency planning, simulations, and post-incident reviews.
  • Manage and develop a team of six managers, driving training and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, partners, and emergency services.
  • Lead mobilisation of new sites and contribute to key security projects.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in managing and supporting complex security operations in high-risk environments.
  •  Extensive experience in incident and crisis management, including multi-agency coordination and emergency response.
  • Strong leadership capability, with experience managing operational teams, training delivery, and staff development.
  •  Hands-on experience in creating and maintaining operational workflows, procedures, and documentation.
  •  Strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to lead short-term responses and long-term planning initiatives.
  • Understanding of resilience frameworks, business continuity, and ISO 27001 compliance
  • Level 3 or Level 4 Security Management qualification
  •  Business Continuity or Resilience-related qualification (e.g. CBCI, DBCI – desirable)
  •  Degree or equivalent experience in Security, Risk Management, or related field (desirable)
