Various shift patterns like 4 on 5 off 5 on 4 off days, rotation shifts, night shift, day shift
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Logistics Operative at Hinkley Point C.
As a construction Logistics Operative you will be responsible to support with housekeeping, general receipt of items, stock control, moving material from Buildings to various compounds and providing general support to various contractors on Hinkley Point C construction site.

Key Responsibilities:
- Receipt & put away of incoming materials
- Housekeeping of buildings to ensure the engineers can carry out their duties efficiently
- Posting of correct signage in buildings
- Controlled issue of all stores
- Stock checks
- Identifying maintenance requirements for tooling or electrical items (Calibration/ PAT/ Thorough examination)
- Housekeeping of stores, buildings and compound areas
- Ensure that HPC code of conduct is followed at all times
- Carry out any other reasonable request as required by your Line Manager
What do we need from you:
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- A CITB Operative H&S test (to be completed before the start date).
- Warehouse or construction experience
Desirable
- Experience of working within the construction Industry
- Driving Licence
- Knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical Tooling and consumables
- Understanding logistics limitations and regulation
Site Specific Information:
- You must be able to provide a 3-year work history and required vetting process in line with HPC protocols.
- You must be able to obtain the HPC pass.
- The site is located remotely and a bus journey of 45 minutes each way is required to gain access.
