Shift Pattern: 4 on, 5 off, 5 on, 4 off, 5 on, 5 off.
Hours: 06:00 - 18:00
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Logistics Operative for our Internal Stores and Compounds Department for Hinkley Point C.
As a Logistics Operative for Stores and Compounds you will be responsible to provide controlled receipt and issue from stores of tooling and material to various contractors, as well as compound maintenance related duties on the Hinkley Point C Construction Site.

Key Responsibilities:
- Receipt & put away of incoming materials.
- Controlled issue of stock.
- Stock checks.
- Identifying maintenance requirements for tooling or electrical items (Calibration/ PAT/ Thorough examination).
- Housekeeping of stores and compound areas.
- Creating/ modifying compounds.
- Making deliveries across site as well as to/ from our offsite locations.
- Ensure that HPC code of conduct is followed at all times.
- Carry out any other reasonable request as required by your Line Manager.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Essential:
- A CITB Operative H&S test (to be completed before the start date).
- Good communication skills.
- The ability to understand Safe Systems of work.
- To demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in unsafe conditions.
- To maintain a good work ethic and routine.
- To be able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Previous experience of working in a warehouse or stores related position.
Desirable:
- Experience of working within the construction Industry.
- Knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical Tooling and consumables.
- Understanding logistics limitations and regulation.
Site Specific Information:
- You must be able to provide a 3-year work history and required vetting process in line with HPC protocols.
- You must be able to obtain the HPC pass.
- The site is located remotely and a bus journey of 45 minutes each way is required to gain access.
