We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Night Shift Logistics Operative at Hinkley Point C.

As a Logistics Operative, you will play a key role in assisting our client (MEHA) with the best possible platform to successfully deliver operations. You will take up various supporting tasks in construction logistics and keep the workplace clean and safe. You will be part of a great team, who are supportive and friendly.

• Up to £16.42 per hour (depending on experience) Plus a shift allowance at 25%.
• Shift pattern of 4 days a week: Monday to Thursday (39h) 18.00pm-04.15am

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

• General stores duties - Stock checking, picking, and preparing.
• Maintain and safe operation of the WJ fleet.
• Transportation/Delivery of MEHA materials and equipment
• Installing way finding/emergency signage.
• Waste management.
• Fire point maintenance.
• Water point replenishment.
• General Building cleaning.

Essential Skills

• CITB Operative H&S test (must be completed before start date)
• Good written and verbal communication

Desirable Skills

• Driving Licence
• HPC pass holder
• On site experience

Site Specific Information 

• You must be able to provide a 3-year work/ unemployment/ education history and required vetting process in line with HPC protocols.
• You must be able to obtain the HPC pass.
• The site is located remotely and a bus journey of 45 minutes each way is required to gain access.
