We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Construction Logistics Manager (Black Hat) at Hinkley Point C.
As a Construction Logistics Manager (Black Hat), you will provide continuous support to our internal stores team. You will supervise Chargehands and Logistic Operatives working across multi-skilled stores activities ensuring they are working safely in line with RAMS, DABS, and HPC processes. You will play a key role by completing daily briefings before work starts, and ensuring all operatives understand their daily tasks and are aware of any new hazards within their work. This will be a very busy role with conflicting priorities, and we are looking for someone who wants to join us who thrives in a fast-paced environment You will be part of a great team, who are supportive and friendly.

- Salary starting from £55,000 DOE

Skills and Qualifications
- Previous Supervisory Experience
- Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) or working towards
- CITB certificate (Managers and Professional standards)
- Excellent IT/ MS office skills
- Being able to deliver essential training and mentor staff
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to build and develop a team.
- Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from construction and Clients.
- Demonstrable commitment to continuous improvement.
- Experience in reporting Observations and Near misses
- CSCS Card Manager Level (Black)
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
- Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Management (or working towards)
Site Specific Information
- You must be able to provide a 3-year work/ unemployment/ education history required for vetting process in line with HPC protocols.
- You must be able to obtain the HPC pass.
- The site is located remotely and a bus journey of 45 minutes each way is required to gain
