We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as an IT Assistant at Hinkley Point C.
As an IT Assistant you will be providing administrative support to the operation, focused on operational hardware and software. Reporting to the IT Project Coordinator you will be responsible to manage all the IT assets and implement the integration of new software and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first line IT support for our site team.
- Maintain all existing IT hardware and integrate new hardware to the operation including mobile devices.
- Deliver IT projects as required by the operation, ensuring WJ HPC IT remains best-in-class.
- Responsible for the HPC business cloud, updates and changes as requested by the operational team.
- Process procurement orders through our SAP management software, as directed by the Procurement Manager.
- Maintain and manage procurement documentation in an orderly file system.
- Support the Commercial Manager and Procurement Manager with any ad hoc administrative tasks.
What do we need from you:
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- CITB Operative H&S test (must be completed before start date)
- Proven experience of working in first line IT support
- Experience of IT hardware management
- Excellent software skills – MS Office, Sharepoint etc
- Knowledge of networks and network management
- Experience with Printer Management
Site Specific Information:
- You must be able to provide a 3-year work history and required vetting process in line with HPC protocols.
- You must be able to obtain the HPC pass.
- The site is located remotely and a bus journey of 45 minutes each way is required to gain access.
