Are you an organised, detail‑focused administrator looking to develop your career in HR? We're looking for a proactive HR Shared Services Administrator to join our team and deliver a high‑quality, consistent service to employees, managers, and key stakeholders across the business.
In this role, you'll be part of a busy HR Shared Services function, responsible for ensuring employee contracts, offers, and employment records are processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with policy and legislation. You'll build strong working relationships with HR colleagues, managers, and employees, helping to create a smooth and positive employee experience.
About the Role:
As a HR Administrator you will:
- Manage the full lifecycle of employee contracts and offers, ensuring accurate and timely processing for new starters, leavers, and contractual changes.
- Prepare, issue, amend, and confirm employment contracts and associated documentation in line with HR policies and employment legislation.
- Coordinate contractual changes with hiring managers, Employee Relations, Payroll, and other stakeholders to ensure information is correct and processed within agreed SLAs and KPIs.
- Maintain accurate employee records, monitoring deadlines and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Administer vetting and pre‑employment checks, ensuring compliance with sector standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct ongoing employment checks, ensuring they are completed accurately and within required timescales.
- Provide general HR administrative support, including data input, record maintenance, archiving, and responding to routine HR enquiries.
- Build positive working relationships with colleagues and customers, ensuring clear, professional communication at all times.

What we are looking for:
- Previous administration experience, ideally within a HR environment.
- Experience using a HR Information System (HRIS) or similar database.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external partners.
- Good IT skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Ability to produce clear, concise written and verbal communication.
- High levels of reliability, including strong punctuality and attendance.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced environment.
