We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Health & Safety Manager at our exciting site at Sizewell C (SZC).
As our Health and Safety Manager, you will be dedicated to supporting the business, our clients and the Health and Safety department. You will be managing and monitoring the working practices of employees and contractors regarding health, safety, wellbeing and welfare across all WJ locations relating to the SZC project. You will be responsible for supporting the development of strategies and systems and providing advice and support to ensure Wilson James Logistics teams are working safely in line processes and procedures, including current legislation and industry best practice. You will drive the well-being agenda for all colleagues. The post holder will be fully integrated with Wilson James HSE leadership team, working collaboratively with senior leadership to underwrite Wilson James' principal priority: a safe working environment.

What we need from you:
- Strong working knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, specific to the construction industry logistics activities
- NEBOSH qualification - preferably general certificate or construction certificate.
- IOSH Qualification - Ideally a member or equivalent
- CITB H&S test pass certificate for Managers & Professionals
- CSCS Card (professional card - white)
- Experience in compiling and reviewing RAMS specific to the task
- Strong construction or engineering background
- Demonstrate experience and knowledge of safety in plant and vehicle operations
- Experience working in a multi-disciplined safety-critical environment.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, able to communicate at all levels
- IT literate – Strong electronic communication, spreadsheet, and presentation skills
- An understanding of the principles of equality and diversity in relation to visitors' and employees'
Site Specific Information
- You must be able to provide a 3-year work/ unemployment/ education history required for the vetting process in line with Sizewell C protocols.
- You must be able to obtain the SZC pass
