Join Our Team as a Event Security Officer!

To provide Event security and other security duties at client site, including assisting in emergencies and other duties that meet customer requirements and comply with Assignment Instructions or as required by the Security Team Leader or Security Management Team. This includes providing security for Events, sites, perimeter fence lines, and access and egress controls. All Security Officers should demonstrate a customer-focused attitude, display an outstanding level of customer service and understanding the reasons for it.

About the Role:

As a Event Security Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Incident Reporting: Conduct initial investigations and report incidents, suspicious activities, objects, and vehicles both orally and in writing
  • Property Protection: Report instances of property at risk of being lost, stolen, damaged, or vandalized.
  • Assistance Requests: Respond promptly to requests for assistance
  • Concern Investigation: Investigate and escalate staff-reported concerns promptly and thoroughly
  • Contractor Safety Monitoring: Monitor contractor adherence to safety protocols to reduce accident risks on site.

  • Emergency Response: Ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
  • Reliability: Demonstrate reliability, including high standards of punctuality and attendance, to ensure team effectiveness and availability
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Public Interaction: Deal calmly and confidently with all demands from the public
  • SIA DS licence
