We're looking for a proactive Event Security Manager to join our client's Event Security Operations team. In this pivotal role, you'll be the central point for managing the overall security posture of diverse events, ensuring the safety of people, property, and intellectual property. Looking for a highly talented and driven individual who wants to be part of an outstanding team, in an inspiring and collaborative environment. A typical day in the life as an Event Security Manager

  • Event Security Lead : Lead the on-site event security operations for events, manage an operational security team and work alongside stakeholders and partners as required to ensure the appropriate security measures are in place for a safe and secure event. Ensure that the event security teams are appropriately inducted, trained and that they meet all client SLA/KPI criteria.
  • Event Security Operations Oversight: Own the day-to-day management of the client's Events Programme, including project tracking, stakeholder coordination, resourcing and escalation. Produce first drafts of complex event security plans and presentations, including key information and briefing points obtained from other leads and relevant resources.
  • Data input and analysis: responsible for collecting crucial security data points relating to events and security requirements, pre- and post-event. Leading meetings with significant stakeholders to collate information and assess security requirements/needs. Contribute significantly to weekly/month states and reporting.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for people who are passionate about helping others and keeping those around you both safe and secure.   

  • 3+ years experience in an events, research, consulting, risk or business continuity environment
  • 1+ year experience in a managerial role
  • Have previous exposure to events is desirable but not essential
  • Genuine interest in, and enthusiasm for, emerging technology
  • Report writing experience would be advantageous
  • Displays high level of accuracy, diligence and integrity
  • Able to form relationships with wide range of people and strong team player
