Working across the Kings X Estate a large, vibrant hub with a cluster of offices, public spaces, entertainment and shops you will be responsible for the safety and security of the area. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a great team and working with the local community and tourists that visit the area. The Estate Relief Officer plays a vital role in maintaining public safety, security and smooth operation of the estate. This is a high-visibility role requiring strong security awareness and excellent customer service skills. Officers are responsible for external patrols, incident response, access control, and supporting visitors across the estate, working in all weather conditions both independently and as part of a wider security team. The highest level of professional standards and consistent approach to ensuring a positive customer experience.
About the Role:
As a Estate Relief Officer! you will be responsible for:
- Offer guidance and directions to visitors, ensuring smooth access to buildings and estate facilities.
- Collaborate with other security personnel and estate staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Report hazards, incidents, suspicious activity, or notable interactions to the Control Room for appropriate logging and follow-up.
- Uphold all security protocols while maintaining professionalism, vigilance, and discretion.
- Conduct regular external patrols of the estate to deter anti-social behaviour and ensure the safety of staff, visitors, and premises.
- Liaise with contractors to answer queries, reinforce site protocols, or escalate concerns if necessary.
- Provide guidance and directions to contractors and visitors where appropriate.
- Report unauthorised works, permit issues, or safety concerns to the Duty Team Leader promptly.
- Follow all relevant Assignment Instructions, Risks Assessment, SOP and policy.
- Provide a visible, professional presence and deliver excellent customer service during all interactions.
- Act as a community liaison, listening to concerns and escalating them where appropriate.
