We are recruiting for an ER Advisor! Are you passionate about people and skilled in navigating the complexities of employee relations? Are you ready to take your HR career to the next level by specialising in ER? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you. 

Join our fantastic ER team located in Heathrow and embark on an exciting journey as an ER Advisor. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing top-tier support and guidance to both employees and managers, ensuring the highest standards of HR service delivery. 

As a valued member of our Employee Relations team, you will be responsible for delivering expert HR advice and support across a range of issues, including grievances, TUPE, and managing complex caseloads. Your interpersonal skills will shine as you forge strong relationships with key stakeholders, including HR colleagues, senior management, and frontline staff.

A typical day in the life as an Employee Relations Advisor: 

  • Offering expert HR advice on all people policies and managing ER cases with a focus on risk management and mitigation. 
  • Supporting the ER Manager and Senior Business Partner teams on TUPE contracts and organizational restructuring. 
  • Providing timely Employment Law and Management advice for various HR activities, including consultation processes and absence management. 
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with managers, employees, and external partners. 
  • Implementing effective tracking and reporting systems to ensure visibility and accountability in ER activities. 
  • Keeping abreast of legislative changes and best practices in ER and advising on necessary adjustments. 
  • Providing insightful Management Information and analysis related to ER cases. 

What are we looking for?  

  • Employee Relations experience at a similar level, with a proven background of managing employee relations matters such as grievances, absence reviews etc 
  • Competent as a subject matter expert and ability to demonstrate this 
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholder at all levels  
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines  
  • Effective team member who demonstrates flexibility in support of the overall team effectiveness  
  • HR experience at a similar level, within a proven background of managing employee relations matters  
  • Preferred candidate will be CIPD qualified
