We are seeking a highly skilled and flexible individual for the position of Emergency Response Officer. This role requires the ability to respond to incidents, including medical emergencies and other safety and security incidents, across various locations within the LON area. The successful candidate will be responsible for commuting between sites on an e-bike, demonstrating operational flexibility and multi-site awareness. Candidates with mental health first aid training and experience will be given preference due to the increasing importance of mental well-being in the workplace. Leadership and organisational skills are also essential for effectively managing resources and coordinating emergency response efforts.

About the Role:
As a Emergency Response Officer you will be responsible for:
- Be first on the scene (site) to deliver required First Aid.
- Respond to security incidents across the client site portfolio.
- Multi-site Awareness and Operational Flexibility.
- Commuting between all LON sites on electric bikes (Proficiency Cycling Training will be provided).
- Be responsive to movement of personnel and equipment as needed to optimise resource utilisation.
- Adapt quickly to changing operational needs and priorities across different locations
- Serve as a first responder during emergency situations, providing immediate assistance and coordinating efforts until professional help arrives
- Utilise mental health first aid training to provide support and assistance to individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to establish clear communication channels and promote a coordinated approach to emergency response.

What we are looking for:
- Prior experience in emergency response situations, such as providing first aid or assisting with incident management.
- Familiarity with emergency response protocols and the ability to remain calm and composed during high-stress situations.
- Experience in handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Experience in diffusing tense situations and finding mutually agreeable solutions.
- Proven experience in effective verbal and written communication, including the ability to convey information clearly and concisely
- SIA – DS
- Proven experience delivering high-quality first aid including being FREC 3 and FPOS trained. We will consider applicants who are trained but whose certifications are out of date.
Should you be successful, you will start with us and be in training for 1 month from 1st May 2026 where you will be working Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week.
If you are successful sooner than 1st May, you will be placed on the relief team for another one of our sites to cover our teams!
Please note that, successful candidates will be required to undergo periodic vetting checks during their employment. This is not a full vetting process, but a routine credit and directorship check and carried out every three years to ensure ongoing compliance with our security standards.
