We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Document Controller at Sizewell C.
The Document Controller maintains controlled, accurate and retrievable information for the Wilson James Sizewell C programme. The role administers approved documents, drawings, procedures, decisions, material records and assurance evidence so that teams work from current information and the custody chain remains demonstrable and auditable. Working with Quality, Operations, Digital, compliance and project teams and delivery partners, the post holder will manage document workflows, registers, distribution, retention and audit readiness across Sizewell C and Orwell Logistics Park.

What do we need from you:
- Previous document-control or information-management experience in a regulated or project environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records under competing priorities.
- Experience managing document registers, revision control, transmittals, workflows and retention.
- Confident use of electronic document-management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to interpret document status, approval requirements and information-governance rules.
- Strong organisational and time-management capability with disciplined follow-through.
- Ability to communicate requirements clearly and support users with different levels of experience.
- Experience supporting audits, handover packs or quality-assurance evidence is desirable.
- Understanding of material traceability, configuration control or construction records is advantageous.
- Discretion and sound judgement when handling sensitive, controlled or security-classified information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all working and management levels.
- CITB HS&E Managers and Professionals certificate (MAPS) – must be obtained before the start date.
Desirable
- A recognised document-control, information-management or quality qualification.
- Previous experience in construction, infrastructure, logistics or another regulated environment.
- A working knowledge of:
- Electronic document-management systems and approval workflows
- ISO9001 records, document and configuration-control principles
- Material traceability, handover and assurance evidence
- NEC correspondence and major-project governance
Site Specific Information
- You must be able to provide a 3-year work/ unemployment/ education history required for vetting process in line with SZC protocols.
- You must be able to obtain the SZC pass.
