The main responsibility of a Security Officer is to play a vital role in safeguarding people, property, and assets. The responsibilities encompass a range of tasks, including surveillance and patrolling to prevent and detect security breaches, controlling access to facilities, and responding promptly to emergencies. Security officers are tasked with maintaining a secure environment through regular security checks, incident documentation, and effective communication with relevant stakeholders.
About the Role:
As a Corporate Security Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Display an outstanding level of customer service continually striving to meet and exceed expectations
- Be an ambassador for the company and display a positive attitude towards work
- Welcome and converse with internal and external customers in a friendly and courteous manner
- To remain vigilant during duty
- Respond to incidents should they occur and take on role as per Building Evacuation procedures
- Sign in visitors and contractors as per access procedures
- Be aware of events occurring in event spaces and other activities located within the building
