We are looking for a Control Room Supervisor to join us at our client site in London, South Kensington. To play an active role in the Security team, as part of a 24hr shift team responsible for actively protecting the whole of the estate, including its collections and assets; as well as maintaining a secure and safe environment for visitors, staff and contractors

As a Control Room Supervisor you are an integral part of the team and you can make an impact with your skills to protect, deter and respond to any security matters, whilst providing an exceptional customer service experience.

A typical day in the life as a Control Room Supervisor:  

• Proactively monitor CCTV for the prevention of crime and to ensure the Health and Safety of staff and visitors.
• To deal with fire system isolations and reactivations, after receiving correct permits.
• Respond to alarms on the access control system and dispatch officers in response to case alarms.
• Update changes in access permissions where required, in the cases where urgent access requirements are requested and after appropriate checks have been made about their right of access.
• To accurately maintain the fire log.
• Dispatch initial first aid response immediately and find cover for must-man positions as a result.
• To dispatch initial incident response to operational incidents such as lift entrapments, lost children etc.
• Check contractor entry to site permits before allowing contractors to work on site.
• Co-ordinate the logging and storage of high value lost property.
• Manage the Issue high risk keys and fobs and keys held in Traka.
• Ensure the completion of weekly BGU tests, panic alarm tests and lift phone checks.
