Join Our Team as a Contract Security Manager!
As the contract security manager for this prestigious, high-footfall visitor attraction in Central London, you will be responsible for all aspects of the Security contract service delivery. An experienced and dynamic leader, you will lead a large team, ensuring all aspects of service, safety and wellbeing are maintained across this 24 hour operation.
Experienced in multi-stakeholder engagement, with strong communication, influencing and relationship development skills, you will utilise these skills to develop strong client relationships based on honesty, integrity and respect.
You will be responsible for the recruitment, onboarding, development and retention of a large and diverse team. You will ensure there is clarity in roles and responsibilities, as well as a culture of performance awareness and improvement.
About the Role:
As a Contract Security Manager! you will be responsible for:
- All aspects of security contract delivery, including KPI performance, team leadership and compliance.

- You will create and develop a culture of performance awareness,
- Planning and delivering the highest security standards for all events held at the museum.
- Deliver the strategic security plan for the Museum, setting and meeting clear objectives which align with the overall strategy for the Museum.
- You will seek and suggest opportunities for operational efficiencies, utilising technology, systems and data to streamline operations.
- Produce Security Plans and risk assessments as requested ahead of high-profile events, and other known high-risk activities such as protests.
- Ensure that appropriate staffing levels are maintained with the necessary skills and provide all necessary training and development to ensure their competence in their respective roles.
- Where requested, act as subject-matter-expert on security operations, providing advice to the client and stakeholders.
- Ensure that all policies, procedures, assignment instructions, safeguarding and regulatory requirements are relevant and up to date and that the Wilson James teams are fully conversant with said processes.
- All invoicing is completed accurately and on time.
- Ensure that all rostering and scheduling is complete and communicated in advance.
- Manage all site based KPI & SLA's are achieved and reported

What we are looking for:
- SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- Excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
- Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary
- Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance in order to ensure team effectiveness and availability
- Demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team.
- Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from the public.
