Due to continuous growth, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Construction Logistics Planner at Hinkley Point C.
As a Construction Logistics Planner, you will work with the Planning Lead and be responsible for forecasting and producing a plan for delivering day-to-day material distribution schedules for the site-wide operations.
You will play a key role in supporting the Planning Lead against the Construction planning framework to deliver capacity, capacity resilience and distribution operations across the supply chain, including detailed planning with logistics partners for inbound planning.
You will also be responsible for capturing performance data against KPIs and forecasting against demand and past performance metrics to feed the Wilson James Control Tower. This role will involve utilising Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to underwrite capacity planning and resilience of the HPC on-site logistics operation.

What we need from you:
- Demonstrate a detailed experience and capability of producing CAD drawings.
- Demonstrate experience of planning, coordinating and delivering temporary works
- Show an ability to problem solve and supply initiatives.
- Current CIB temporary works certification
- Working knowledge of temporary works management procedures, BS:5975.
- Excellent IT, Written, Verbal & Numeracy Skills.
- Excellent in the use of MS Excel.
- Diligent and precise.
- Good team skills and collaborative qualities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to research and produce information.
- Ability to interact comfortably with blue and white collar workforce.
- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics.
- CITB MAP H&S test (must be obtained before start date)
Site Specific Information
- You must be able to provide a 3-year work/ unemployment/ education history required for vetting process in line with HPC protocols.
- You must be able to obtain the HPC pass.
- The site is located remotely and a bus journey of 45 minutes each way is required to gain access.
