Join Our Team as a Control Room Officer!
We are looking for a highly professional and detail‑focused Control Room Officer to join our centralised monitoring and operations team. This role sits at the heart of our 24/7 estate operations, ensuring the safety, security, and smooth running of the entire site. You will oversee multiple systems, coordinate incident responses, and act as a key communication point across the estate.
About the Role:
As a Control Room Officer you will:
- Monitor CCTV, access control, life‑safety and alert systems to identify risks and respond promptly.
- Act as the first point of contact for all security incidents, coordinating information flow and escalation.
- Communicate professionally across radio, phone, and digital platforms to support estate‑wide operations.
- Manage access control, including issuing cards, administering permissions, and verifying identity.
- Maintain accurate logs across all digital systems, ensuring compliance and audit readiness.
- Track and control assets, including radios, keys, and equipment, ensuring full accountability.
- Liaise with emergency services and external partners when required.
- Report and escalate system faults, risks, and non‑conformities to the appropriate teams.

What we are looking for:
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor and CCTV licences.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a control room or high‑pressure operations environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to remain calm, clear, and authoritative.
- High IT proficiency, confident using and troubleshooting multiple systems simultaneously.
- Exceptional attention to detail, especially during time‑critical situations.
- Experience liaising with emergency services and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of GDPR and secure data‑handling practices.
- Experience with radio communication and accurate incident documentation.
