In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, operate control room systems , responding to incidents, and ensuring that security protocols are upheld at all times. About the Role:

As a CCTV Control Room Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Operate and monitor control room systems, ensuring all tasks align with WJ and client procedures and policies.
  • Oversee daily CCTV, Fire, and Security system operations, conducting regular system tests, panic alarm tests, and lift checks.
  • Report any faults promptly to maintain system efficiency.
  • Ensure effective operation and monitoring of the Control Room CCTV system in compliance with procedures, legislation, and crime prevention codes of practice.
  • Monitor alarms for access/perimeter control systems, museum case alarms, and dispatch officers as needed.
  • Operate radio, telephone, and other communication systems professionally, promptly, and efficiently.

What we are looking for:

  • To hold a current DS SIA Licence and CCTV licence
  • Proven experience in a security role or a similar position.
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to identify and respond to security threats.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, visitors, and authorities.
  • Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
