We are looking for an Asset Protection and Events Manager to be based at our client site in Central London. As the Asset Protection and Events Manager will be responsible for ensuring the secure transportation and safeguarding of luxury items, including jewellery and artwork. This role involves planning, advising, and implementing comprehensive security measures for the transit of such items, and ensuring the end destination has appropriate security measures to maintain the integrity of the assets. The role also includes planning, advising, and recommending security measures for events & exhibitions, collaborating with the Client event team, and supporting high profile events and exhibitions.

A typical day in the life as a Asset Protection and Events Manager:

•    Coordinate and oversee the secure transportation of high-value items, ensuring adherence to established Client policies & procedures
•    Develop and implement robust protocols for the handling, storage, and transportation of luxury items and artwork, to mitigate risks and ensure asset integrity.
•    Collaborate with Client staff and external agencies to ensure the safe and secure transit of high-value items
•    Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify and address potential security threats, ensuring    proactive measures are in place.
•    Perform off-site security surveys as required, providing detailed reports and recommendations to  enhance security measures
•    Brief and train all security personnel on specific event requirements to maintain high security standards.

•    Ensure the event security team maintains a high standard of personal presentation, reflecting professionalism and attention to detail.
•    Attend meetings with the client's events team to align security arrangements with the event type.
•    Perform regular compliance audits to ensure business operations align with legal requirements and industry standards.
•    Prepare and present comprehensive reports on security operations and incidents to management, providing actionable insights and recommendations to Wilson James and the client

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and manage high-stress situations with composure.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic IT skills, with the ability to use technology effectively.
  • Ability to think and act swiftly in emergencies or under pressure, ensuring effective response and resolution.
  • Ability to deliver clear and concise verbal and written reports, ensuring accurate and effective communication.
  • Exhibit reliability, punctuality, and consistent attendance, demonstrating commitment and professionalism.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, fostering collaboration and cooperation.
  • SIA Door Supervisor Licence
  • First Aid at Work Certificate
  • IOSH Managing Safety (or equivalent)
