Duty Manager
Temporary, Fixed Term Contract for 3 months (Secondment)
Location: Heathrow
Hours: 5 days a week, 08:00 - 18:00, 50 hours a week
Pay: £19.00 per hour
We are looking for an experienced and professional VIP Duty Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of a prestigious Heathrow VIP operation. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a high-performing team within a luxury service environment, ensuring the highest standards of customer experience, operational excellence, safety, and compliance.
As the main point of contact for the Heathrow VIP operation, you will provide visible leadership, oversee daily resource planning, manage operational performance, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will play a vital role in ensuring seamless service delivery for high-profile clients while maintaining exceptional operational standards.
About the Role:
- Lead and manage daily VIP operations across the Heathrow VIP service.
- Supervise and support Supervisors, Controllers, Chauffeurs, Baggage Assistants and Security teams.
- Plan and manage staffing levels to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Liaise with Heathrow Airport stakeholders to resolve operational challenges and support service improvements.
- Monitor operational performance through SLAs, KPIs and management reports.
- Coordinate training programmes and ensure team compliance with operational requirements.
- Manage vehicle availability, maintenance records and operational data.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
- Conduct service reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage employee performance, conduct and welfare matters in line with company procedures.

What we are looking for:
- Experience within a luxury, VIP or high-end customer service environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
- Professional, polished and well-presented approach.
- Experience of resource planning and operational coordination.
- Strong IT skills.
- Ability to work a flexible shift pattern.
- Previous management experience.
- Airside ID.
